Whenever I have been told the best in me is a caring nature i always thought "What a big deal? Most people have!!" Today i was told it is a big deal because unfortunately i was mistaken and it has become a rare quality in people. I wonder why?

Caring is giving. It makes you a better person. It makes your world a better one. It makes the world of people you love better. It makes the big world out there BETTER.

Why is It Okay to Hate Men...

I have been too lazy recently and way behind everything that is happening out here in blogosphere. For that I am sorry!! I am also very much behind with all the tags and awards I have to pass on. But now I found a way out as well as powers in myself to continue the best way. I am about to start doing tags every Friday and hope to catch up by the end of spring. This will be my Miscellaneous Friday and once I hope to make it something like Tuesday Love Ramblings. I mean at least that much constant on my blog.

And today I want to start with Pri’s tag. She tagged me like ages ago to write on 10 things I hate about men. Must be fun, so lets start ;)

• The way they think they are smarter, they are more intelligent and the girl should not interrupt when men are talking on men’s subjects like science, computers, sports, finance, politics. Do they ever learn this kind of attitude somewhere before they go to school?? Some college for little boys, eh?? Because from the very first time they step into school together with girls they are already like that. Inborn capability? Huh?! Wake up, guys! The world changed. It doesn’t belong to you anymore!
  
  
• They remember the name of all sportsmen ever achieved any memorable results no matter from own country or not. Ask them what was the score in the final game of the last FIFA World Cup and you will get an answer. Ask them about the date you got to know each other… birthdays?? anniversaries?? Selective memory, eh?? Would it kill to remember?
  
  
• I wont say anything new now. But hellooooo, if you don’t know the right direction, why not to ask? Big big ego problem.
  “Men don’t need to ask for directions. They know where they are going… (errr…. Honey, where is that map?)”
  
  
• He: Oh.. darling, you have fever. Hey, lie down, I will cook dinner myself.
  She: Oh, no, no, come on, I can do it.
  He: Huh? I told you to take rest, I’ll manage it. Err.. where are vegetables in this house? Hey, sweetheart, did you hide the knife somewhere?
  She: I still want to help you, I took some pills, fever will go now.
  He: Do you think I am not able to take care of you??!! Here is the knife, got it. Oh, shit.. I cut my finger, dear, I cut my finger, I am bleeding.. OMG.. I am bleeding.Ohh.. I am feeling so weak. I need to lie down. Bring me some juice? What?? We don’t have juice?? Go and buy it. Ohh… my finger. And now don’t say I never take care of you. I cut my finger because of you. You should be grateful you have got me. Look for sacrifices I make for you!!
  
  I hope you got the point!
  
  
• The way they think to run household is not exactly work and you cant get tired by cleaning, doing the laundry, washing dishes, looking after kids.. Noooooooo, it is absolutely not the same as being in office from 9 till 6. has nothing to do with being busy. It is fun for us, kind of a hobby. Why don’t you join? Believe me in the phrase “working mother” working is redundant, actually it is already redundant in “working woman” as whatever a woman does it is already WORK!
  
  
• You do not have birth right over the Remote control. Neither we granted this right to you. And there is more than just sports and news and stupid dirty comedies running on tv… let’s say “Desperate Housewives”, “Sex and the City”?
  
  
• Ok, that’s something that might annoy even more. It is absolutely nothing wrong with looking (I mean we like to look too…), but haven’t you been taught about the art of looking? There is a very fine line between ogling and looking. But somehow, you guys, think its all one and the same! And they call themselves intelligent!
  
  
• The way they hide their emotions when something goes wrong. Come on, we are not dumb, we know something is going on. And if you know us well by now we already have the theory about what exactly is going on. Like you have some illness or you would die or you are going to leave us. So if it is just some small work issue, just tell us - we would be able to handle it better than the whole lots of theories we have imagined while you were not talking.
  
  
• The way they say I don’t bother what you look like because you are a great personality once you are their friend, after you have become their girlfriend suddenly you have to lose some weight, change your outfits, etc etc etc …. You either be more consistent or don’t say anything at all. Otherwise I have a word for it – HYPOCRISY!
  
  
• Once again. Reality check: “A man is in fact a sport obsessed, boob-fixated alien species that will never mature beyond the mental age of 13, capable of generating vast expanses of mess, extravagant noise and unique odours simultaneously” (not my quote!). So you see we have more than just 10 reasons why it is really okay to hate men.

But well, all stereotypes. Reality is different or I want it to be different, though like we all know some points are pretty fair!

When women are upset, they go shopping, men – invade another country. That’s the whole different way of mentality.

Once we learn to live with it, things will be less complicated.

PS: though we still haven’t granted you the right over remote control ;)

And I Do Mean It!

First of all, I am feeling better and thank you all for your lovely comments and get-well-wishes. Still not absolutely fine and not going to the office but fever decided it is tough to fight with me and left defeated. Special thanks to Zahid for all his prayers, potions and whatever else he sent which i have not received (might be due to some traffic jams).

I have a lot to catch up with in Bloggerville, starting with my own posts and comments and then reading yours, will definitely take some time. Have too many tags to complete and i will do them all I promise, just in my own sweet time. Missed TLR yesterday - but i guess nobody will mind if i do it today especially with February 14th just tomorrow. Some lovely-sweet post on love you can read here in my Good Day Blog. We live only once, but if we do it right, once is enough

I have been tagged by Sami like ages ago and was warned to be abused and more than that being not talked to if I don’t post it finally today. So here I am doing the simple love/hate tag. I am not much into poetry you know, so wont be able to make it as beautiful as Sami did, so lets see what happens :D

I love:

-Walking in the rain
-Hot tea when it's snowing
-Dreaming
-Girls nights out
-Sitting in a coffee shop reading a favourite book
-Getting mails
-Hearing my favourite song on the radio.
-Lying in bed listening to the rain outside (when I am not walking)

-Finding a 100-rouble note in my coat from last winter (though on the second thought finding a 1000-rouble note would be better)
-Waking up and realizing i still have a few hours left to sleep

Actually I can continue the list as I love a lot of things in life, small or big, they are always there and I believe there are no small things, it all depends only on the way you see them.
Sometimes we wait for big things to happen and we are disappointed when they don’t.
Sometimes we wait for tomorrow to be happy… but maybe we should not.

We live only once, but if we do it right, once is enough :)

Actually I don’t… there are things that I dislike but nothing that much as hate. I believe there shouldn’t be place in your heart for hatred for it only ruins your own soul. And I care for my soul.

Board of Wisdom

I am still busy with work but couldnt resist blogging :P Though today am not going to write much :) I guess everyone noticed i changed template again but hope this one is a final one as i truly like it. All credits go to me as once couple of days ago i was changing template and accidentally deleted all the widgets :D

After that i thought of finally choosing one template for myself and created one.... this one :) Widgets are still not back but i am on my way to make this page even better. Though sometimes i feel weird. I mean yesterday night i remember the blog having a blue background, today it is white. Not sure if i changed it or it ever has been blue :D

And I Know Its Gonna Be Alright :)

You will not believe but that's me again :D What a wonder, isnt it? For all of people who commented on my last post and who were very very nice I just thougt of letting you all know that I am doing much better :) And things are going better and life is not super great but GREAT! :) Thank you to all of you for caring and supportive coments :)

Now to post. Tuesday, so that must be time for another TUESDAY LOVE RAMBLINGS but....

Always there is a "but", nahh?? And this "But" are tags that are pending, and pending, and pending... So today i thought of combining tags with love ramblings. I am very very smart, dont you think? ;)

1. I LOVE bookshops....

You better never leave me
alone in a book shop because
i can spend there hours. And it doesnt matter if it is a big shop or a small one, it will take me the same amountof time. When I am inside time stops existing. Life is absolutely different, world is not the same anymore. I guess I would even be able to live in there :D

2. I LOVE tea....

Ok, ok, not that exactly weird because many of us like it, but please no coffee, and only black tea with no milk and no sugar, NEVER. And it should be hot too!! Then i can drink it for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner (i mean instead of breakfast, lunch and dinner)


3. I LOVE being alone...

And, yes, I really do, be it the impossibility of being alone (there are always people around) or signs of my introverted (?) nature but there are moments (and they are often) where i dont want anyone around. Not that i feel uncomfortable with people, not like that, only that being alone is a little bit more comfortable


4. I LOVE mathematics...

Thats definitly my first love, my teachers were so much sad when i took a had decision of giving up studying this. But there is amazing beauty in it, dont you think?

5. I LOVE "Charmed"...


I have watched all 8 seasons for many times, knowing them almost by heart but still keep on watching and watching. I have them in 3 languages - russian, german and english and i just cant stop myself from watching any time when i feel bad - it makes me feel secure somehow when i know that the evil will be destroyed completely and the power of love, care, life will be on top again!! :)

6. I LOVE mess....

Well, really, dont like things to take their places. You should take a look at my desk. I call it "creative chaos". My mom calls it a "mess". Most probably she is right but i love it the way it is.

I always know where i can find anything i need, but once someone makes some kind of order there I am not able to find anything at all..

7. I LOVE the question "really?"...

I just ask it like every second sentence and it doesnt mean i doubt anything you say, it only means that i love to ask this :P Once i promised to a friend that i will try not to ask it so frequently because he complained about me doubting his words. But then his answer was like "Dont change it. If you wont ask it, it will not be you". So i am still there keep asking "Really?"

Ok, done!! Yahooooooooooo!! Life has not been easy for me these last few weeks, things are complicated but blogging is one of few reasons why i hold on because i know after rain there is always sunshine and and everything is gonna be alright :)

There is no Way to Happiness, Happines is the Way

Feeling down last couple of days, somehow me and not me, lost in space, time and reality. But even being lost and disturbed as I am these days I remember I have to write the tag. "Life would be different if.." And actually I knew what to write about but somehow not into anything these days, even was not sure if I would write anything this week.

But today while waiting for the bus to go home after work i thought that life would be different, if I didnt have to stay there in this cold evening and wait for the bus for the time period which one would call eternity! And then I again thought and thought and thought..... I guess I just thought too much and then..... well .... then the bus came.. not mine!! Whatever! I took this one, just like that as it came to my mind, then changed it, took another one and another. Finally it was the one that could bring me home.

And sitting there, almost falling asleep I got this line that was supposed to be the last line of my yet-to-be-born post. Trying to catch the line and not to let it go i pulled myself together and concentrated on it.. Somehow didnt work out and the line was gone. Felt miserable, really, but then i caught it again ... and again lost it... playing hide-and-seek with this thought i finally reached home and tried to store it somewhere deep in my mind in order to get this thought out of it when time comes.

So you see I really had to write this post otherwise the thought would have gone forever. This tag is pending for such a long time which someone would call ETERNITY. During this time I read lost of tags done by my blogger friends and only wondered what should I write about. Now I know.....

Life would be different if...

we had no sunrises to watch

there were no rains for walking out

there were no first snowfall each year

there were no flowers to blossom

Life would be different if

we didnt have smiles that happen for no reasons
we didnt have smiles for every reason
we couldnt laugh till it hurts
we didnt have friends to be with us when things go wrong
we didnt have friends to be with us when thing go right
we didnt have friends who we could call at 4 am just like that
we didnt have pillow fights

Life would be different if

we didnt have dreams

we didnt believe in impossible

we didnt have hope

we didnt believe in wonders

Life would be different if

we didnt know that someone loves us

we never got to hear "I love you"

we never said "I love you"

we didnt know that someone cares

we didnt care for someone we love

we didnt know that someone misses us

we didnt miss that someone special

we couldnt give a hug to someone we care about

we couldnt get a hug when we need it

we couldnt have a chance of being with our loved ones

Life would be different if

we couldnt stay at home on a rainy day, sit at fireplace and read our favourite book

we couldnt have a family dinner every now and then and enjoy funny family stories

we couldnt have a hot tea on a cold day

we couldnt have breakfast in bed when we want it

we didnt skip room cleaning every now and then (more "now" than "then")

Life would be different if

we didnt have instant messengers to keep in touch

we didnt have miss calls to show we are there

we couldnt call each other to make each other feel important

we didnt have chocolate to cease the pain when things go wrong

we didnt have chocolate to feel more joy when things go good

And maybe...

Life would be different if

we knew what to do
we knew where to go
we knew what it is all about....

But does it matter? If we have these small moments of happiness each and every day, do we really need to know why sometimes things go wrong and we cant do anything about it, why sometimes life is dark and people just dont care.

Sometimes when we think the world is dark, it is just us closed our eyes. Open the eyes, start to appreciate the moments you have got because it might happen you wake up one day and those moments are gone and life is different... but then ...different doesnt always mean better. Happiness is not in looking for better options, it is in the ability to appreciate the ones you have got. There is only one life you've got to live and choose to live it happy because there is no way to happiness, happiness is the way..

And life would be different if i didnt tag Sameera because i also have my mischievous side :D
